It's not like this in Copenhagen...yet.
At the climate conference in Copenhagen (where few will be reminded of global warming by the weather), will one of the world's foremost "climate skeptics" be on hand? Most of the élites in attendance believe we should do something about climate change. Bjørn Lomborg, agrees, but his prescription, based on the premise that concerns about climate change are overblown and that there are higher priorities, has placed him in the minority. The opprobrium heaped on Lomborg by his opponents makes one wonder if he's not onto something.
Whatever the merits, there's little doubt that Lomborg and his critics, along with the interestingly timed "climategate," will make their own contributions to global warming.
